First youre going to have to clip your nails to get rid of the fake nail tips. When it stops being so sore you can remove the false nail but I would have the nail technician do it. If your natural nail isnt hurting too badly now it is okay to take the acrylic off.

Acrylic can also break your nail clippers. Taking something like nail clippers wont work as acrylic can be a bit thicker than clippers can get over. File down the surface of the plastic nail and soak it in acetone.
